
Lado Ataneli - Il Barone Scarpia (Tosca)
Born in Georgia, started a career imposing himself on the international scene as
an interpreter of dramatic roles such as Scarpia, Sharpless, Tonio, Alfio,
Gérard, Jago, Germont, Jack Rance, Simon Boccanegra, Amonasro, Rigoletto, Conte
di Luna, Nabucco and Macbeth. Mr. Ataneli is regularly invited to the
Metropolitan Opera in New York, the Royal Opera House Covent Garden, the Vienna
State Opera, the Deutsche Oper in Berlin, the Bavarian State Opera, the Opera
Bastille in Paris and in the theaters of Hamburg, Zurich, Barcelona, Washington,
Miami, Los Angeles. Among his engravings stands out: La Gioconda with
Placido Domingo and Violeta Urmana (EMI) and the DVD of Thaïs conducted
by Gianandrea Noseda at the Teatro Regio in Turin. Mr Ataneli recently starred
in Tosca in Athens and Los Angeles; La Gioconda in Salerno and
Un ballo in Maschera in Berlin (Deutsche Oper).
Among his future plans it is worth mentioning Barnaba in La Gioconda
at the Staatsoper in Berlin.

Fabrizio Beggi - Samuel (Un Ballo in Maschera)
Mr. Beggi started his career in 2011 attending Ensemble Opera Studio at the
Teatro Carlo Felice in Genoa, where he made his debut in Donizetti’s Il
Campanello (Don Annibale Pistacchio) then he performed in Puccini’s
Gianni Schicchi (Marco e Maestro Spinelloccio) besides Juan Pons; in the
world premiere of Oz on the road (Zio Henry); and in Roméo et Juliette
(Le Duc).
Fabrizio Beggi won the Toti Dal Monte prize in 2012, after that he made his
debut in Cimarosa's Matrimonio Segreto in Treviso then on tour in Ferrara
and Rovigo.
Mr. Beggi recently
sang Rigoletto in Savona and Battistelli’s Matrimonio all’Italiana
at the Teatro Comunale in Bologna.
Mr Beggi continues the collaboration with the Teatro Regio in Turin, where in
the past season he starred in Andrea Chénier and Don Carlo and in
the next future will star in Gianni Schicchi.
Other future
plans include: Alidoro in La Cenerentola in Treviso and Ferrara;
Un Ballo in Maschera at the Teatro Comunale in Bologna.
